We invite submissions from all of you for the photography exhibition that will be held as part of the Bangamela 2008. 
There are over a hundred million of us Bengalis from all walks of life scattered all over the world.  As befits the
plurality of our heritage, we have imbibed the cultures of many others, but retain the pride and joy of being from Bengal. 
Each of us have forged an identity that is unique.  We want to know what it means to you to be Bengali as seen through
your lens. 

The technical specifications and judging details are below.

Technical specifications
 ♦  Prints (black & white or color), slides and digital photos are all acceptable. 
 Prints should be 12" by 16" in size, slides should be mounted, and digital photos should specify if they are Mac-only.  
 
 ♦  Mention that the prints & slides, once received, will become the property of Bangamela
(with the copyright resting with the photographer) and will not be returned. 
 
 ♦  Submission specifications should include:
      [a] Title of Photograph,
      [b] Name of Photographer,
      [c] Camera make and model,
      [d] Circa 
 

First, Second & Third Positions and Certificates of Merit will be awarded in each of the two categories: Analog & Digital.

The judges include Sandip Ray and members of FIAP, Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique.
